I was finally ordained on June 18, 2009. On July 1, 2009 I started at my new appointment, Salem UMC in Orwigsburg, PA. Some adjustments still being made. I'm really enjoying it though. Gail preached today for UMW Thank Offering Sunday. She did a great job, still my favorite wife. ;). God is doing some great stuff in O-burg and I'm excited to be a part of it.

First Day of Annual Conference
Day started with Clergy Session, which started with voting on ordinands. I passed and have been fully and finally cleared for ordination! 12 years of work ends soon as I reach my ultimate goal. Average lunch, opening session with reports, and then reports and then more reports. Then a couple of resolutions....then more reports. Then okay dinner. Fantastic worship service. The Rev. Vance P. Ross from GBOD preached. Wow. West Chester youth choir and youth band sang and played. Finished with communion, of which I assisted in serving.
